Our restaurant is closed from October to May, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy fresh from the pier lobster from Maine’s pristine coast. Even when Maine is cold enough to freeze our beards and eyelashes, we’re still hard at work to deliver live lobsters, fresh and frozen lobster meat, and more fresh Maine seafood straight to your doorstep.

Hidden gem on a quiet pier, however must be busy during peak times. Best lobster roll in Maine. Lemon butter lobster roll was outstanding, fresh, warm and comforting, onion rings and fries to accompany rolls. Nice outside seating with heaters right next to the marina. Small car park outside.
Our Acadia tour guide (Pete @ Scenic Acadia Tours) recommended Beal's and it was a great recommendation for food and service. We were in Maine with our 85yo mom for her birthday and the folks at Beal's made it very special for her with a candle on her cornbread and a yummy slice of blueberry pie with local ice cream at the end of the meal. My sister and I had our first whole lobster experience - also great!
Our first night in Southwest Harbor we were so tired and just wanted to grab a quick bite. I thought this restaurant looked good so I put in a quick online order. I got the clam chowder and cornbread and my husband got a burger. We took it over to Echo Lake and had a picnic. The hot clam chowder was delish on a cold evening and being from the south I was curious how their cornbread would be and let me say they nailed the cornbread too!
