At our working lobster pier in Southwest Harbor, Maine, you and your family will have a blast watching the boats sail in and the lobstermen unload fresh Maine lobster. Hear the creak of rope on the moorings. Catch the scent of saltwater on the breeze, and enjoy the waterfront view.
Our restaurant is closed from October to May, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy fresh from the pier lobster from Maine’s pristine coast. Even when Maine is cold enough to freeze our beards and eyelashes, we’re still hard at work to deliver live lobsters, fresh and frozen lobster meat, and more fresh Maine seafood straight to your doorstep.

Our first night in Southwest Harbor we were so tired and just wanted to grab a quick bite. I thought this restaurant looked good so I put in a quick online order. I got the clam chowder and cornbread and my husband got a burger. We took it over to Echo Lake and had a picnic. The hot clam chowder was delish on a cold evening and being from the south I was curious how their cornbread would be and let me say they nailed the cornbread too!
We loved this place. So unassuming, such a welcoming outdoor space. The blackened scallops were some of the best I’ve had and husband’s lobster roll was excellent too. If you want a break from lobster rolls, they had many seafood options, they weren’t all fried either, which seems to be an “thing” here (?) and they all looked great. Good Whoopie Pie too. They make TASTY fries! I rarely eat fries but I ate all of these. Highly recommend.
Enjoyed sharing our lobster roll flight - the spicy was the best!! I would just get that one next time!
Original was great, lemon - was ok, Garlic was good too.
I got the lobster bloody mary - $19 (only $5 more from reg. and you get two claws! - worth it!) I didn't care for the bloody mary mix - not as spicy as I like but everyone is different.
great view on the deck - but do not set anything on ledge - the water is directly below!!
we enjoyed watching the lobster boats come in and unload.
